OverviewWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Industrial Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) team to design efficient floor layouts, optimize people and process flows, and drive continuous improvement across production operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and enjoys solving complex workflow challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesFacility & Layout DesignDevelop detailed production floor layouts, workstation designs, and material flow diagrams.Conduct time, motion, and ergonomic studies to ensure efficient and safe workspace configurations.Model current and future-state layouts using CAD or equivalent tools.Process Flow & OptimizationAnalyze production workflows to identify bottlenecks, waste, and improvement opportunities.Map and optimize people, material, and equipment flows to enhance throughput and reduce cycle time.Collaborate with the ME team to implement standardized work and lean manufacturing practices.Continuous ImprovementLead or support Kaizen events, root‑cause analyses, and productivity initiatives.Use IE tools (5S, VSM, line balancing, PFMEA, spaghetti diagrams, etc.) to improve operational efficiency.Develop metrics, dashboards, and models to measure performance and track improvements.Project Support & Cross‑Functional CollaborationPartner with manufacturing, quality, safety, and supply chain teams on process and layout changes.Support new product introductions (NPI) with capacity analysis, workstation planning, and labor modeling.Assist with equipment placement, process validation, and production launch readiness.QualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.1–3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial operations environment.Strong proficiency in IE tools such as time studies, line balancing, PFMEA, and workflow analysis.Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent) for layout creation.Strong analytical skills with experience in Excel, data modeling, or simulation software.Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.PreferredExperience implementing Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.Knowledge of ERP/MES systems.Exposure to large‑scale facility planning or process optimization projects.Green Belt certification or similar training.
