Industrial Engineer -2Sterling Heights,MI(Onsite)Summary:The main function of a Industrial Engineer is to design, develop, test and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis and production coordination. A typical Industrial Engineer is tasked with increasing productivity through the management of people, methods of business organization and technology.Job Responsibilities:- We’re looking for a motivated professional to support labor analysis, plant efficiency improvements, and process optimization initiatives. This role works closely with production teams and cross-functional partners to improve productivity, capacity planning, and overall operational performance.What You’ll Do:Develop and improve labor standards and work methodsConduct time studies, labor analysis, and productivity evaluationsTrack efficiencies, cycle times, and plant performance metricsLead or support efficiency improvement and rebalancing projectsAnalyze process constraints and equipment cycle timesSupport workstation design and ergonomics reviewsAssist with plant layout and material flow improvementsPrepare reports and presentations for leadershipSupport capacity planning, budgeting, and headcount forecastingCollaborate with production supervision and union teamsParticipate in cross-functional improvement projectsWhat We’re Looking For:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with labor analysis and time studiesProficiency in Excel and PowerPointClear written and verbal communication skillsSelf-driven, organized, and able to manage multiple prioritiesPositive team player and change agentPreferred (Not Required):MODAPTS, GSPAS/APT experienceErgonomics analysis toolsBasic AutoCAD or layout drawing experience3–5 years of related experienceBachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (or related field)If you’re passionate about improving processes and driving efficiency, we’d love to connect!Additional Safety Training/Licensing/Personal Protection Requirements:
