2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Claryville Facility, Alexandria, KY (Onsite)
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: As per Exp. (plus $0.80 shift differential for 2nd shift)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for our 2nd shift at the Claryville facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of electromechanical systems and equipment. This position ensures a safe and efficient operation while adhering to company policies, including Client's safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plant equipment and support systems, including PLCs, scales, conveyors, chillers, and more.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, and ladder logic diagrams.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance using precision techniques.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (3-phase), mechanical systems, motor controls, and computer/PLC-controlled systems.
  • Fabricate and weld various types of metals (preferred skill).
  • Utilize CMMS to manage maintenance activities and records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, including lock-out tag-out (LOTO), Arc-Flash, and hot work permits.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, working collaboratively with supervisors and planners.
  • Work off shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent industrial maintenance education.
  • Candidates with prior Client experience must meet the minimum 180-day rehire waiting period (maximum of three employment terms).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills, including technical support across all operational phases.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical/training manuals.
  • Experience handling and documenting cleaning chemicals.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift and move up to 40 lbs.
  • Work in wet, humid, cold, and hot environments, including refrigerated areas (~40 F).
  • Stand or walk on hard surfaces for 8 12 hours per shift.
