Position Summary:The Maintenance Technician keeps production equipment running smoothly by performing repairs, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. This role supports operations on coating, laminating, and converting machines to reduce downtime and improve reliability.Key Responsibilities:Perform regular maintenance and repairs on motors, pumps, conveyors, rollers, and other equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems quickly to minimize downtime.Read and understand schematics, blueprints, and manuals.Work with OEM support to troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs.Communicate with production staff to fix equipment issues.Keep accurate maintenance logs and update records using software like MaintainX (a plus).Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company safety policies.Help install and test new equipment or upgrades.Understanding of ISO standards is a bonus.Be available for flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts when needed.Skills & Experience:High school diploma required; technical degree or certification preferred.3–5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.Strong skills in mechanical systems (pumps, bearings, conveyors, etc.).Experience with 3-phase power (230–480V), sensors, wiring, and control panels (120V AC / 24V DC).Familiarity with PLCs (Allen Bradley or Siemens); programming is a plus.Experience with VFDs and electrical troubleshooting.Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, boilers, and air compressors.Good communication and teamwork skills.Detail-oriented and organized.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.Positive, team-first attitude.
