Industrial Maintenance Technician – Entry Level Position

Day Shift: Monday -Thursday 6am-3pm & Friday 5am-9am

What would you do: You would be involved with troubleshooting and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure support for production, mixing and the plant facility. You will be able to work independently to maintain, install, trouble-shoot and repair AC/DC motors, conveyors, extrusion machinery, mixing machinery, forklifts, etc. Beyond the daily maintenance, you will be involved with various projects, such as installations, retooling, and doing a lot of preventative maintenance.

  Preferred Experience

·         Manufacturing, particularly extrusion machinery.

·         Electrical and mechanical skills

·         Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic operations is beneficial

·         Use of a variety of hand and power tools

·         Some fabrication or welding

What we are really hoping to find: Someone who has some education and previous experience in industrial maintenance, preferably 1-2 years. (electrical experience desired).  But technical expertise is not the only thing. We know that you will be dealing with a multitude of tasks, so the ability to prioritize and plan your work is important. Having the ability to "master" managing the multiple spinning plates that comes with this line of work. With all of that in mind, we need you to be conscientious, hard-working, dependable, resilient, tenacious, and fun to work with!
