Heavy Equipment Service Technician/Mechanic
Location: Escalon, CA
Job Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime required)
Pay: $30-$38/hour (DOE)

We are currently seeking a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, providing complex repairs, and diagnosing issues on various types of agricultural equipment, including farm machinery, tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, bulldozers, backhoes, shakers, trailers, and spray rigs.

Responsibilities:

As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will:

• Analyze, diagnose, and repair agricultural and heavy equipment.
• Perform repairs, replacements, and rebuilds on engines, fuel systems, hydraulic components (including pumps, motors, valves), and electrical systems.
• Conduct inspections and follow the proper check-in process for equipment.
• Follow manufacturer and company service guidelines to ensure quality work.
• Accurately document all diagnoses and repairs in service reports.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience in Diesel and Hydraulic Repair.
• Compact Construction Equipment Repair experience.
• Knowledge of Tier 4 Diagnostic systems, CanBus Diagnosis, and DEF System.
• Ability to analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Self-motivated and quick to learn new skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
