The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining pipes for various projects. Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan pipe layouts.
  • Cut, bend, and weld pipes according to specifications.
  • Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for commercial and industrial projects.
  • Inspect and test installed pipes and systems to identify leaks and ensure functionality.
  • Collaborate with other construction workers to complete projects on time.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Cut, thread, and hammer pipes to specifications using various tools.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of pipe fitting experience in commercial or industrial settings.
  • MUST be able to pass a fitter test
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Proficient in the use of various hand and power tools.
  • Strong knowledge of pipe materials, installation techniques, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
  • This position is located in Chester SC from May 2024 through January 2025
