Headquartered in Switzerland with additional factories in Italy and France, RONDO equipment solutions are sold and serviced to North American customers through subsidiary RONDO Inc., located in Moonachie, New Jersey.
Due to tremendous growth, we are seeking an Industrial Sales Manager to join the RONDO North America team. SALES MANAGER
Position: Industrial Sales Manager (ISM)
Reporting Location: Moonachie, New Jersey or Remote U.S. home office
Travel: 50% throughout the United States, Canada & Caribbean, including occasional travel to RONDO factories in Italy & Switzerland
Sales Territory: To be determined, considering factors such as reporting location and key account experience
Reports to: President of RONDO North America
Subordinates: None
Goal and Function of the Position
a) The ISM is responsible for driving North America sales of industry solutions manufactured by RONDO’s Italy Industrial Business Unit (ROS).
b) Develop opportunities with new and existing customers and manage those accounts, including preparing quotes and determining pricing strategy to win orders.
c) Use SAP C4C CRM to manage and communicate on opportunities and clients.
d) Collect and maintain market and competitor information and transfer this information to RONDO Product Management. Participate in decisions regarding the development of new equipment and technical solutions.
e) Represent RONDO at exhibitions and conferences; network to promote the RONDO brand and industrial solutions to commercial and industrial bakeries.
f) Call on existing and new clients to create and develop a substantial market share; build relationships at different customer levels and buying influences (i.e., economic, technical, user).
g) Contribute to print and digital marketing campaigns and promotions.
Requirements
Professional Education (one of the following):
- Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Bakery and/or Confectionery
- Food Technology
Professional Experience
Required:
- 5 years’ experience in sales of capital bakery equipment
- Acquainted with the Industrial Bakery Market and accounts, including local products and key players
- Knowledge of Industrial Baking Processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
- Ability to make presentations to large groups
- CRM experience
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Dough Processing Technology
- 3 years’ experience in industrial sheeting & laminating
