Senior Security Architect
- Hybrid position in Oakland County
- 6 months contract with possible extension
GDI Infotech seeks a Senior Security Architect for our government client entity to help them with enterprise information security.
Job Duties:
The selected candidate should be able to secure enterprise information. The duties include:
- Define, operationalize, and document the security architecture and assessment function.
- Develop, standardize, and document reference architectures; specifically, zero trust architecture.
- Determine and apply appropriate controls and criteria for security architecture reviews.
- Elevate the security engineering team through mentoring and knowledge transfer.
Required Experience:
- Senior-level (10+ years) experience in Enterprise information security by
- Ability to determine security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems;
- 10+ years experience in preparing security standards, policies, and procedures.
- Expertise in planning security systems by:
- evaluating network and security technologies;
- developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices;
- designing public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software;
- adhering to industry standards on-prem, remote (DR), and cloud environments.
- Enhancing security team accomplishments and competence by
- answering technical and procedural questions;
- teaching improved processes;
- mentoring team members.
