Full-time Description Infection Preventionist We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Infection Preventionist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring infection control policies to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your expertise will help reduce the risk of healthcare-associated infections and promote best practices across our facility. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and evaluate infection prevention and control policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards. Conduct surveillance of infections within the facility to identify trends and areas for improvement. Educate staff, patients, and visitors on infection prevention practices and protocols. Investigate infection outbreaks and collaborate with clinical teams to implement corrective actions. Maintain documentation and reporting of infection data to relevant health authorities. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to infection control. Participate in infection control committees and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives. Strong knowledge of infection control standards, CDC guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to educate and influence staff at all levels of the organization. Detail-oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities.
