We're looking for a Technical Lead to take charge of implementing advanced data governance, metadata management, and quality initiatives using Informatica CDGC. This is a hands-on role where you will be a technical leader, shaping the foundation for scalable and intelligent data systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and Deploy: Design and implement a comprehensive metadata management framework using Informatica CDGC, ensuring integration with existing systems and workflows.
- Performance expectations: Design and manage multiple project initiatives to optimize and maintain high availability.
- Establish Data Lineage: Lead efforts to map and document data flow across systems, enabling transparency and reliability for business-critical operations.
- Leverage AI & Automation: Utilize CLAIRE to create AI-powered data quality reports, enhancing exploratory data profiling and delivering actionable insights.
- Standardize Data Quality: Develop and enforce data quality standards, including implementing GE-specific data quality rules, and monitoring ongoing compliance.
- Drive Innovation: Evaluate and recommend emerging tools and practices in data fabric technologies, integrating them for organizational benefit.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Lead with Expertise: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Informatica CDGC/EDC Expertise: Hands-on experience configuring and optimizing Informatica CDGC, EDC, AXON, with a strong understanding of its advanced features.
- Technical Depth: Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or SQL) for custom rule implementation and automation.
- Data Governance: Deep knowledge of metadata and data lineage frameworks and their role in enterprise data management.
- AI and Automation Knowledge: Familiarity with CLAIRE and similar AI tools to automate and enhance data quality initiatives.
- Strategic Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address complex data issues proactively, driving long-term resolutions.
- Strong Leadership: Proven track record in leading technical teams, with the ability to manage competing priorities and timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other data governance/catalog tools is a plus.
- Background in building or working within an AI Data Fabric or data mesh environment.
- Understanding of cloud-based data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
