ETL Development & Support:
- Lead the support and maintenance of Informatica PowerCenter / CDI-PC workflows, mappings, and sessions.
- Monitor daily ETL jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure timely data availability.
- Perform root cause analysis and permanent fixes for recurring issues.
- Manage and optimize data extraction from SAP ECC/S4HANA using IDocs, RFCs, or SAP connectors.
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams to understand source structures and business logic.
- Guide junior ETL developers and coordinate with cross-functional teams (SAP, BI, DBAs).
- Participate in change management, release planning, and production deployments.
- Maintain documentation for ETL processes, support runbooks, and SOPs.
- Tune Informatica sessions and workflows for optimal performance.
- Implement best practices in error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms.
- Lead and manage a support team handling bug fixes, enhancements, and client queries.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Should have a clear understanding and working experience in SDLC, CI/CD, Agile & Sprint programs.
- Ability to Co-ordination with Application and Platform teams, Hyper-Care support, Performance optimization, Unit Test & - Integration test support
- Mentor and support other colleagues and L2 team for L3 Technical delivery
- Managing services SLAs like availability (proactive monitoring) and incident resolutions as per SLAs
- Strong client-facing role at the customer location or remotely.
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter (v10.x or higher).
- Proven expertise in SAP data extraction using Informatica (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, ODP).
- Solid understanding of ETL architecture, data warehousing, and data modeling.
- Experience in production support environments, including ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Familiarity with Oracle/SQL Server databases, Unix/Linux scripting, and job scheduling tools (e.g., Maestro, Control-M).
- Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) or Informatica MDM.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and data lake architectures.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
