In our Corporate Technology Development and Engineering Center (TDEC) in Milan, Ohio, we also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers rely on Sierra Lobo’s expertise in managing large contracts for the Government combined with in-house core competencies in research and engineering. This unique combination gives customers access to specialty skills and a proven management framework that produces “Excellent” results. This position will be located in Milan, OH. Responsibilities Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and service-driven IM Operations Manager to lead the reliability, performance, and efficiency of our IM infrastructure, systems, and operations-related services. This role focuses on maintaining high availability, optimizing operational processes, and leading support functions while partnering closely with the security team to ensure operational alignment with enterprise security standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage day-to-day IM operations, including: Infrastructure, servers, and endpoints Network and cloud environments Service desk and user support Ensure up time, performance, and reliability of critical systems Drive operational improvements, automation, and efficiency Manage IM vendors, contracts, and service providers Develop and maintain IM operational policies, procedures, and best practices Support capacity planning and performance monitoring Coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity readiness Partner with the security team to: Implement security controls and operational safeguards Support vulnerability remediation and patch management Align operational practices with security policies Assist during security incidents from an infrastructure/operations perspective Contribute to IT budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning Qualifications Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field 5+ years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure management 3+ years in a leadership or management role Strong knowledge of: IT infrastructure & networking Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) Systems administration & endpoint management IT service management (ITIL practices) Experience leading technical support or operations teams Excellent troubleshooting, prioritization, and decision-making skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities Preferred: ITIL certification or strong familiarity with ITIL framework PMP certification or strong familiarity with PMP practices Experience supporting regulated or security-conscious environments Experience with automation / DevOps / scripting tools Experience with security concepts such as: Access control Patch & vulnerability management Logging & monitoring Business continuity / disaster recovery #J-18808-Ljbffr
