Key Responsibilities
  • Enterprise Architecture: Design and document system architecture diagrams, technical roadmaps, and infrastructure designs; lead modernization initiatives and cloud migrations.

  • Security & Compliance: Architect systems to comply with CUI handling, NIST 800-171/800-53, and FISMA; implement secure design principles including encryption and IAM strategies.

  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Design secure AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud solutions and oversee integrations between on-premise and cloud environments.

  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to development and security teams, lead design sessions, and translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Governance: Support Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation and security accreditation processes.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven expertise in enterprise-level system design and infrastructure documentation.

  • Security Clearance: Must be eligible to meet all Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) security requirements.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), networking, and disaster recovery planning.

  • Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of NIST security frameworks and federal regulatory environments.

  • Skills: Ability to lead technical workshops and mentor junior staff while maintaining high standards for system availability and security.
