MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Develops and maintains system security certification and accreditation services for our Information Technology (IT) Refresh and Reset Program in accordance with contractual requirements. Reviews and evaluates complex customer security issues and implements corrective actions as needed.Interfaces with customers and the Information Community (IC) to resolve Security problems and provide information on containment or resolution.Ensures that problems have been properly identified and solutions will satisfy the user's requirements. Generate daily reports and implement necessary updates.Collaborate with field service operation technicians to address their support tickets.Advises on vulnerability management and scanning practices.Apply knowledge of Information Assurance policies, procedures, and workforce structures to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management using the Risk Management Framework (RMF).Identify overall security requirements for the proper handling and protection of government data.Minimum Qualifications:Willingness to learn ISSO tasks with a Bachelor degree in technical related disciplineExperience in Security Solutioning in a customer service arena.Cyber and/or IT certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or CompTIA’s Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or Security+ (Sec+) for DoD 8570 compliance is required.Expertise in providing strong written and verbal communication conveying solutions and best practices required.Clearance Requirements:Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ PolyPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
