(Mobile, AL): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled Information Technology (IT) Technician to support daily IT operations by maintaining hardware, software, network systems, and departmental infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and functionality. Essential Duties Organize and maintain IT department assets, documentation, and supplies. Provide technical support for hardware, software, network, and communication systems to internal and external users. Assist in maintaining and testing disaster recovery processes for all systems. Monitor and optimize data and voice communication infrastructures for performance and reliability. Support development and maintenance of intranet, internet, and e-commerce platforms. Perform data import, export, archival functions, and generate ad hoc reports. Maintain databases, reference materials, and asset management systems. Assist with IT training sessions, user documentation, presentations, and proposals. Contribute to the development and implementation of IT department strategies. Respond to enterprise-wide service calls and technical support requests in a timely manner. Requirements / Skills Associate degree in Information Technology or related field with two (2) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or relevant discipline preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word). Basic knowledge of ERP and CRM systems. Working knowledge of SQL and C# programming. Foundational understanding of networking, cabling, and computer hardware. Web development experience preferred. Experience with Epicor or TrackAbout systems is a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated commitment to customer service, teamwork, and organizational support. Sound judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail. Physical Requirements Regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Occasionally required to stand and walk. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. May be exposed to moving mechanical parts, varying climate conditions, fumes, airborne particles, electrical shock risk, and vibration. Work environment is typically quiet.
