We are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain our Linux-based compute and server infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our R&D computing environment, working closely with design and test teams to continuously enhance system capabilities.Reponsibilities_Maintain the linux-based compute cluster: keep OS and software up to date, maintenance computing job scheduling system, installation of new software, replacement of cluster nodes. _Maintain the linux-based fileservers and services: authentication, license servers, webservices _Manage local gitlab instance, CI/CD and docker infrastructure_Manage postgress database server_Manage backups, monitor servers User management Workstation (windows) installation and support_Work with design & test teams to upgrade the systems as needed to support the R&D activityRequirements & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in IT or related fieldExperience with Linux server environments (Red Hat–based: CentOS, AlmaLinux)Experience with PostgreSQLFamiliar with GitLab (or similar version control systems)Knowledge of job schedulers (e.g. Slurm, SGE)Fluent in English; Dutch or Chinese is a plusThis is a part-time (3 days per week) position
