Freelance IT Infrastructure Analyst | 6-month Contract | On-SiteOur client is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Analyst to join their global IT team. You will act as a technical specialist, supporting and maintaining enterprise infrastructure across hybrid environments while delivering hands-on support to end users and contributing to ongoing infrastructure improvements.Role OverviewParticipate in analytical and technical assignments across servers, storage, network, and cloud environmentsSupport administration and maintenance of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, and core network infrastructureAssist in documenting and enhancing the company’s IT architecture, systems portfolio, and asset inventoryHelp design, test, and review new systems, applications, and hardware; contribute to capacity planning and performance optimizationSupport security improvements, patching, backup and disaster recovery testing, and compliance controlsTroubleshoot hybrid LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and firewall environments, ensuring secure integration between on-premises and cloud systemsProvide end-user and warehouse systems support (scanners, MDM, printers, cameras), coordinating with vendors where requiredContribute to change management processes, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement projectsWhat You Bring3–5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or end-user support environmentsStrong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and core networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs)Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V and exposure to hybrid cloud environmentsFamiliarity with Cisco/Meraki networking, firewall management, and wireless infrastructureUnderstanding of backup, disaster recovery, asset lifecycle management, and license trackingBasic automation skills in PowerShell or similar scripting toolsBonus: Certifications such as Microsoft, CCNA, CompTIA, or related infrastructure credentials
