Career Strategy Consultants is seeking an experienced Information Technology Manager to lead the IT operations for a client near New Martinsville, WV in the banking industry. This role will oversee the planning, implementation, security, and daily management of the organization’s IT systems, infrastructure, and personnel.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for ensuring the integrity, performance, and security of servers, networks, and related systems while leading a team and supporting company-wide technology needs.

Server & Systems Management:

• Administer and maintain both physical and cloud-based servers (AWS, Azure, etc.).

• Ensure server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) are secure and updated.

• Implement disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability solutions.

• Optimize server performance and resource allocation.

Network Administration:

• Configure and maintain LAN/WAN/VPN/VLAN environments.

• Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless hardware.

• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues proactively.

Cybersecurity & Compliance:

• Enforce firewalls, access controls, and encryption protocols.

• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Coordinate with security teams on incident response and risk mitigation.

Team Leadership & Vendor Relations:

• Lead IT support and systems teams.

• Coordinate with vendors for software/hardware acquisition and support.

• Maintain internal documentation, procedures, and IT policies.

• Support disaster recovery readiness and compliance testing.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in server and network administration.

• Prior team management and vendor coordination experience preferred.

Technical Proficiency:

• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and related protocols.

• Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and monitoring tools.
