Job Title: IT ManagerLocation: Brampton (5 days onsite)Base salary range: $110,000-120,000Reason open: Current incumbent is retiringOur client, a private equity backed distribution company is seeking an IT Manager to join their team.ResponsibilitiesLead IT service delivery through managed service providers, ensuring performance meets defined SLAs and KPIsManage vendor relationships, including contracts, performance reviews, and ongoing service improvementsAlign IT operations with business objectives and handle escalations as neededOversee IT budgeting and ensure value and return on outsourced servicesDevelop and implement the organization’s IT strategy and technology roadmapIdentify and drive opportunities for AI, automation, and digital transformationAssess emerging technologies and lead innovation initiativesEnsure all technology investments deliver measurable business outcomesOversee management of Microsoft environments, including M365 and related applicationsEnsure performance, reliability, and security of cloud-based systemsGovern IT infrastructure across multiple locationsMaintain hands-on ownership of ERP systems, including configuration, support, and integrationsManage cybersecurity risks and maintain a strong IT security postureEnsure disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and effectiveEnforce compliance with IT policies, standards, and security requirementsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; certifications are considered an assetMinimum of 5 years’ experience in IT leadership rolesProven experience managing managed service providers or outsourced IT environmentsStrong expertise in Microsoft platforms and cloud technologiesHands-on experience with ERP systems (Infor M3 preferred)Experience with business intelligence tools and reporting is an assetStrong ability to align IT strategy with business goals and drive innovationDemonstrated ability to identify and implement AI and automation opportunitiesSolid understanding of data, reporting, and BI tools to support decision-makingExcellent vendor management and negotiation skillsAbility to manage service delivery using SLAs and performance metricsTechnical expertise in cloud platforms, Microsoft environments, ERP systems, and IT operations
