Department: Operations / Corporate Services Reports To: Director, Cloud Services Location: Dunwoody, GA 30338 / hybrid Role Summary We are seeking an Internal IT Systems Manager who can help drive architecture, and operational standards as the company scales. This role serves as the internal technical authority for IT, partnering closely with leadership while overseeing a third-party helpdesk provider. The IT Manager will be responsible for the administration, integration, security, and long-term direction of our core systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with business needs. Key Responsibilities Own the internal IT roadmap, standards, and technical direction Partner with executive leadership on internal decision-making for IT systems, tools, and integrations Partner with executive leadership to align IT capabilities with business growth Evaluate, recommend, and implement new systems and improvements as needed Serve as the escalation point for complex or high-impact IT issues Systems Administration & Ownership Direct ownership and administration of core internal systems, including but not limited to: Microsoft domain services and Entra ID (identity, access, security policies) Microsoft 365 tenant administration and integrations Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, workflows, permissions, governance) Password management platforms and access controls Asset and inventory management systems System integrations and automation touching the Microsoft ecosystem Endpoint management standards and lifecycle oversight Manage and oversee the outsourced helpdesk provider Define escalation paths, SLAs, and service expectations Ensure consistent policies, documentation, and operational alignment Review performance and continuously improve service quality Maintain a clear boundary between day-to-day support and internal IT ownership Security, Compliance & Risk Management Own identity, access, and privilege management practices Maintain security best practices across systems and integrations Oversee audits, reviews, and access recertifications Ensure proper documentation, change management, and operational controls Partner with leadership on risk assessment and mitigation Documentation & Process Establish and maintain system documentation and runbooks Define standard operating procedures for IT systems and changes Ensure systems are maintainable, auditable, and scalable Reduce institutional knowledge risk by formalizing processes Required Qualifications 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including systems administration and leadership Strong experience administering Microsoft environments (AD/Entra, M365) Experience owning and governing SaaS platforms and integrations Proven ability to manage vendors and outsourced service providers Strong understanding of identity, access management, and security fundamentals Comfortable making architectural and tooling decisions independently Preferred Qualifications Skill Area/ Strong Certifications Microsoft Identity & Security Microsoft Identity/Admin, Security Admin, Security Ops #J-18808-Ljbffr
