## Description**Position Summary**As the IT Manager at Chiyoda USA, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our information technology systems and infrastructure, including the effective utilization and optimization of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, security, and reliability of our IT systems, supporting the overall success of our manufacturing operations and our partnership with our customers.**Duties and Responsibilities*** **Strategic Planning**: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company's business objectives, ensuring technology solutions contribute to the achievement of organizational goals.* **Infrastructure Management**: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems.* **Security and Compliance**: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect company data and information. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.* **Team Leadership**: Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance, mentoring, and support. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.* **Vendor Management**: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure effective and efficient delivery of IT services and solutions.* **Budget Management**: Develop and manage the IT department budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources and adherence to financial constraints.* **Technical Support**: Oversee the provision of timely and effective technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring minimal downtime.* **Project Management**: Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful implementation within scope, timeline, and budget.* **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvement, technology enhancements, and innovation to enhance the overall effectiveness of the IT department.**Knowledge*** **Computers and Electronics** — Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.* **Customer and Personal Service** — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.* **Administration and Management** — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.* **Engineering and Technology** — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.* **English Language** — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.**Work Styles and Abilities*** **Leadership** — Job requires a willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and direction.* **Integrity** — Job requires being honest and ethical.* Initiative — Job requires a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.* **Stress Tolerance** — Job requires accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.* **Adaptability/Flexibility** — Job requires being open to change (positive or negative) and to considerable variety in the workplace.* **Enterprising** — Work involves managing, negotiating, marketing, or selling, typically in a business setting, or leading or advising people in political and legal situations.
