Information Technology ManagerLocation: GuelphReports To: Assistant General ManagerEmployment Type: Full-Time, PermanentThe OpportunityWe are seeking a visionary and hands-on Information Technology Manager to lead our IT department of 12+ professionals and drive digital transformation within our manufacturing operations. This is a pivotal role for a "change agent" who can bridge the gap between complex technology and business results. You will be responsible for mentoring a high-performing team, ensuring robust cybersecurity, and overseeing critical ERP systems (AS400 & SAP) to keep our production lines moving.What You’ll DoLeadership & Mentorship: Inspire, coach, and develop the IT team to foster a culture of continuous growth and technical excellence.Strategic Execution: Deliver and support strategic plans for implementing emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning initiatives.Operations Management: Manage resources to ensure 24/7 production needs are met, providing support for off-shifts and extended hours when necessary.Compliance & Security: Oversee SOX and internal audit compliance, maintain disaster recovery plans, and ensure a rigorous cybersecurity posture.Business Partnership: Act as a creative problem solver, envisioning IT solutions for complex business challenges and ensuring cross-functional priorities (including Continuous Improvement) are achieved.Reporting: Manage monthly/quarterly business reporting and maintain effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).What You BringEducation: University/College Degree or Diploma, preferably in Computer Science.Experience: 5+ years of IT Management experience is required.Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in Manufacturing is required; Automotive industry experience is strongly preferred.Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of:ERP Systems (AS400 & SAP)Network Infrastructure & Custom Software DevelopmentCybersecurity & ComplianceAI and Machine Learning applicationsSoft Skills: Excellent communication (English), high attention to detail, and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
