OverviewWe are seeking an experienced IT Manager to strengthen the organization’s technology foundation, enhance operational resilience, and build a scalable, high‑performing IT function. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands‑on oversight, with a strong focus on system reliability, infrastructure resilience, security, and continuous improvement in a high‑availability, fast‑paced operational environment.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership & IT Governance- Partner with senior technology leadership to define and execute the long‑term IT strategy.- Evaluate existing IT structure and recommend improvements to support organizational growth.- Develop a multi‑year technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.- Introduce best practices in IT governance, accountability, and organizational structure.2. Infrastructure Resilience & High Availability- Design and implement robust failover and disaster recovery strategies.- Ensure maximum uptime and reliability of mission‑critical systems.- Identify and eliminate single points of failure across infrastructure and applications.- Oversee business continuity planning and recurring DR testing.- Lead server failover architecture, database replication, and disaster‑recovery implementations.- Maintain redundancy across network components, including ISP failover, firewalls, switches, and segmented networks (VLANs).- Oversee secure VPN architecture for remote and site-to-site connectivity.3. Technology Evaluation & Innovation- Research and assess emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency.- Support adoption of scalable solutions including cloud, hybrid infrastructure, and modernized platforms.- Recommend technology improvements to enhance reporting, analytics, and automation.4. Operational Excellence & IT Standards- Establish standards across IT operations, support, and service delivery.- Improve incident management, change control, root-cause analysis, and release processes.- Implement metrics and reporting to monitor system performance, reliability, and team effectiveness.- Promote a culture of discipline, accountability, and structured execution.5. 24/7 Operational Support Model- Build an IT organization capable of supporting continuous operations across multiple shifts.- Define team structure, roles, responsibilities, and escalation paths.- Ensure appropriate coverage to support mission‑critical operations around the clock.6.
