The IT Manager is responsible for making sure the company’s computers, networks, and technology systems work smoothly every day. This person will lead the IT team but also jump in and fix technical problems hands‑on when needed. This role supports a manufacturing/production environment, so keeping systems running without downtime is critical. Main Responsibilities The IT Manager will: Run and improve the company’s IT systems , including servers, networks, and security. Manage SQL databases , write queries, build reports, and keep databases running fast. Support Microsoft systems and cloud tools (Azure experience is a plus). Maintain company networks, phone systems, and production‑floor technology. Work closely with operations and manufacturing teams to improve efficiency and automation. Provide on‑call support , including coverage for multiple shifts and some weekends. Troubleshoot and fix technical issues directly, including barcode printers and production equipment. Make sure backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are working and tested. Lead, mentor, and support IT staff to ensure users get help quickly. Manage outside vendors, contracts, and service performance. Stay up to date on new technologies that could improve manufacturing operations. Qualifications Needed Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science (or similar experience). At least 7 years of IT experience , including 3+ years leading a team . Experience with Microsoft systems; Azure cloud is preferred. Ability to both manage people and still do technical work yourself. Experience supporting systems in a manufacturing or production setting. Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
