Job Description: Information Technology Support Department: Information Technology (IT) Classification: Exempt Reports To: SEVP, COO Supervises: No supervisory responsibility Job Summary Provides end-user support to Springs Valley employees. Major Duties & Responsibilities Performs the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computers and related systems. Day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems, software, and hardware. Installs, configures, and troubleshoots desktop systems. Maintains data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment. Communicates highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel. Assists in determining suitable software to meet user requirements. Recommends hardware and software solutions. Provide technical support to employees via telephone, eMail, or remote assistance. Monitor Windows Update via WSUS, 3rd Party Patching, and physical verification. Assist IT Manager with imaging, hardware/software installation/troubleshooting and basic network troubleshooting. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or business with relevant IT experience. Three to five years of experience in computer operations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Problem solving, analytics, reporting skills, process improvement. Technical experience, networking knowledge, security standards, and consulting experience.
