Information Technology Support Technician Apply
We are seeking a Field-Based Desktop Support Technician to provide IT support across multiple healthcare affiliate sites. The role requires a proactive and customer-focused professional who can troubleshoot technical issues efficiently and support a variety of IT infrastructure components. The successful candidate will have MSP experience or a background in Healthcare IT support . Basic networking knowledge, including familiarity with Meraki APs , is a plus. Responsibilities Deliver onsite desktop and network support to various affiliate locations. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Windows desktops, servers, switches, and firewalls . Maintain and manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policy (GPO), and basic server configurations . Provide hands-on troubleshooting for Meraki APs and other network infrastructure . Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure optimal system performance. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and best practices in healthcare IT environments . Travel to affiliate sites across Pennsylvania and New York as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in Desktop Support, Field Support, or MSP Service Desk roles . Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 . Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 . Familiarity with networking fundamentals (firewall setup, wireless APs, and switch management). Ability to work independently in a field-based role . Strong customer service and communication skills . Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA (preferred but not required). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation . Preferred Experience Background in MSP environments or Healthcare IT support . Understanding of HIPAA compliance would be nice to have . #J-18808-Ljbffr
