JOB SUMMARY:

  • Manages all infrastructure and support activities within the specific area of focus in the infrastructure
    department.
  • The role is responsible for planning, executing and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and
    budgets. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, third-party
    contractors, and consultants in order to deliver projects according to business plan. Manages the project s
    objectives and oversees quality control throughout its lifecycle.
  • Additionally, the role contributes to the creation of Infrastructure technical roadmaps, standards, metrics, and architectural methodologies within a specific area of focus. The Infrastructure Manager assists in the
    development and implementation of the processes necessary to ensure that the various architecture
    components align with the overall technical architecture.
    The role reports directly to the Director of Infrastructure.

  • Assign tasks, set performance objectives, ensure successful on time and within budget delivery of all
    projects, and conduct regular performance evaluations for team members.
  • Work with team members to ensure development to enhance the team's skills and expertise.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor system health, performance, security, and proactively addressing any issues or vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams / stakeholders / IT teams to implement and manage platform
    enhancements, upgrades, and integrations. Foster user adoption and promote best practices to maximize
    productivity, collaboration, and platform usage within the organization.
  • Implements and supports short-term and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets
    existing and future requirements
  • Assists with the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and associated
    training plans for infrastructure administration and support staff.
  • Researches, selects, and implements optimal technical solutions considering functional requirements, cost, and risk.
  • As a member of the Infrastructure Management Team, contributes to the overall development of strategic
    goals, performance metrics, communication practices and culture.
  • Contributes to Infrastructure planning, project, resource, and budget meetings to determine priorities,
    services, equipment, new technologies, etc.
  • Contributes to the creation of the IS budget and responsible for specific infrastructure budget categories
    (Hardware, Software, and Consulting).
  • Manages open requests and issues to ensure all work is delivered on time and with high quality
  • Tracks and reports on KPI relating to availability, ticket metrics, and SLAs
