The Infrastructure Security (IS) Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting security-focused infrastructure, systems, and controls to protect One Community Health’s technology environment. This role serves as the primary technical administrator supporting security architecture, vulnerability management, and regulatory security framework compliance, while balancing usability, reliability, and resiliency. As a peer to the Network Administrator and Endpoint Administrator, this role collaborates closely with the IT Manager and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to continuously improve the security posture of OCH. The IS Administrator also serves as an escalation point for potential security-related issues identified by the Site Technology Team or other IT staff and supports audit, risk management, and incident response activities. This is a hybrid role and when on-site this individual will be primarily based out of our clinic in Hood River, Oregon. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or a combination of equivalent education and work experience. 3 or more years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration with a defined focus on security. 2 or more years of experience in a highly regulated technology environment. Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining technical security controls across network, endpoint, cloud, and application environments. Can participate in security-focused project design and implementation, ensuring security requirements are integrated into infrastructure solutions. Able to support compliance with applicable security and regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA Security Rule, NIST, and PCI DSS. Can act as a technical escalation point for suspected or confirmed security incidents. Experience providing guidance and mentoring to IT staff related to secure configurations, best practices, and risk awareness. Experience assisting with audit readiness activities, including evidence collection, control validation, and technical explanations for auditors. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Experience in a community or migrant health center (FQHC) or other healthcare setting. Cisco Certified Network Associate Cybersecurity Certification (CCNA Cybersecurity), CompTIA Security+, or other relevant certifications.
