The Production Supervisor – Injection Molding is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the molding department and its production leaders by monitoring quality, efficiency, safety, and troubleshooting.This position is scheduled 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. MEASURES OF SUCCESS:Directly supervises and trains manufacturing employees, ensuring proper procedures and safety rules/regulations are being followed.Responsible for ensuring housekeeping and optimum utilization of space on the production floor to maintain organization.Responsible for production staff scheduling and paperwork, to include production reports, employee attendance sheet, related production equipment inventory.Documents and reports production and personnel data as required.Utilizes and maintain ERP system (IQMS) to maximize asset utilization and plant performance.Post and transfer all product and raw materials as needed, including but not limited to tracking, analyze and resolve any variances.Identify equipment improvements/repairs and initiate work orders.Manage and maintain objectives and goals in accordance with standard molding machine cycles, to maximize machine run time and minimize machine downtime.Ensure employee awareness of both physical and food safety requirements, company goals, objectives, policies, and procedures and hold employees accountable.Expected to be hands-on on the floor supervisor, including responding and resolving associate questions and concerns.Other duties as assigned.
