Schedule: Full-Time | First Shift
- Support process development across a variety of engineered thermoplastics and specialty molding materials, including precision elastomeric applications.
- Lead process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ), DOE studies, capability studies, and process documentation.
- Establish and maintain scientifically developed process windows to ensure repeatable production.
- Troubleshoot molding defects, process instability, tooling concerns, and material-related issues using data-driven methodologies.
- Monitor and optimize process parameters including injection speed, pressure, temperature profiles, cooling, clamp force, and cycle times.
- Support new product launches, mold qualifications, tooling trials, and continuous process development.
- Collaborate with Production, Tooling, Quality, and Engineering to improve productivity, quality, and equipment utilization.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems, SOPs, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- 4+ years of hands-on injection molding process engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting injection molding processes using scientific molding principles.
- Experience supporting precision molding applications involving engineered polymers and/or Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) processes.
- Working knowledge of process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), DOE, SPC, and root cause analysis.
- Strong understanding of polymer processing, material behavior, mold design interaction, and auxiliary equipment.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within medical device, healthcare, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments (ISO, FDA, GMP).
- Exposure to cleanroom manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
- Experience with automation, robotics, and integrated manufacturing systems.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and support operational excellence.
- Mentor Process Technicians and Manufacturing Technicians on scientific molding principles, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Tooling teams to ensure successful project execution and sustained process performance.
- Communicate technical findings effectively while driving corrective and preventive actions.
