Injection Molding Process Technician - PSC92225
Pay: $22 - 35/hr + Benefits

Schedule: Full-time / O.T. Available
We are looking for a skilled Process Technician to join a stable, well-established leader in the plastic injection molding industry. In this role, you will play a key part in setting up, operating, and optimizing injection molding machines to drive efficient production and deliver high-quality output. The right candidate will bring proven hands-on experience with molding processes, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a solid understanding of process optimization and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and adjust injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment
- Monitor and optimize molding parameters to ensure consistent part quality
- Perform mold changes, material changes, and machine startups/shutdowns
- Troubleshoot process issues including flash, short shots, splay, and dimensional defects
- Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on molded parts
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement process improvements
- Maintain accurate production and setup records
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or technical certification required; associate degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in injection molding or plastics manufacturing
- Strong understanding of molding parameters, materials, and tooling
- Familiarity with scientific molding principles is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed
