Required Certifications & Licenses:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB/ChT) Required
- Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician License Required
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of IV room experience, specifically including hazardous drug/chemotherapy compounding and TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) preparation.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-volume inpatient pharmacy or hospital setting.
- Familiarity with compounding software (Abacus, Baxa, Repeater Pump, Simplifi/SoleSource) highly beneficial.
Charting Experience:
- Proficient in EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Unit Specific Skills:
- Pyxis medication management system
- Cleanroom and sterile compounding environments
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques in a fast-paced healthcare setting
