Inside Sales RepresentativeWe are seeking a proactive Inside Sales Representative to own and manage a discrete book of business. This role involves quoting, sourcing, and expediting orders while actively re-engaging inactive customers. The representative will manage customer master data, ensure CRM hygiene, and serve as the escalation point for non-routine issues. The aim is to improve profitability, not just revenue, and coordinate closely with the warehouse and sourcing teams. Over time, the role transitions into bonus-bearing ownership.Responsibilities:Actively manage accounts to prevent opportunity leakage and re-engage dormant customers.Serve as the primary internal owner for assigned non-VMI customers, accountable for revenue, gross profit percentage, customer retention, and customer experience.Quote, source, and expedite orders efficiently.Maintain and manage customer master data and ensure CRM hygiene.Improve profitability through strategic account management and coordination with warehouse and sourcing.Act as an escalation point for non-routine customer issues.Ensure follow-through and execution in all sales processes.Transition into ownership with bonus-bearing responsibilities over time.Essential Skills:Experience in inside sales, B2B customer service, and account management.Proven KPI-driven performance history.Comfortable with proactive customer contact and communication.Ability to analyze data including pricing, gross profit, and trends.Sound judgment in pricing and escalation decisions.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple customers simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as P21 or SAP.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience in industrial distribution or fasteners.Exposure to advanced Excel functions.Ability to read and understand prints/drawings or willingness to learn.Experience with incentive compensation.Work Environment:The role is based onsite, encouraging collaboration and peer-supported learning, especially with ERP systems.
