An international industrial machinery manufacturer in the Addison, IL area is seeking an Inside Service Technician who is responsible for customer service support, including occasional installation and troubleshooting of machinery at customer sites.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist customers via telephone and email from office on the troubleshooting of machinery
• Occasionally travel to customer sites help with installation and troubleshooting of machinery
• Machine setup and testing at technical center in Addison, IL
• Provide warranty service and support

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• At least 3 years of related machine tool repair experience
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Experience with PLCs and electrical systems
• Ability to travel up to 20 percent
• Must have valid driver’s license

While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
