Shift Details: 1st Shift
Day starts at : 07:00AM or 08:00AM (8 hour shifts)
Working Days : Monday through Friday

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Setup and Calibration:
Set up and calibrate CMM systems according to specific measurement requirements.
Adjust measurement parameters and tooling as necessary to ensure accurate readings.
Inspection and Measurement:
Operate CMM equipment to perform dimensional inspections on manufactured parts.
Accurately record and analyze measurement data, documenting results in specified formats.
Identify and investigate discrepancies between measured data and engineering specifications.
Quality Assurance:
Maintain quality standards by conducting routine checks and inspections of parts.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify trends in defects and take corrective actions.
Prepare reports on inspection results, ensuring that records are up-to-date and accessible.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
Troubleshoot issues with CMM machinery and coordinate repairs as needed.
Conduct preventive maintenance on CMM equipment to minimize downtime.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.
Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel regarding measurement results and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree in a related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and engineering drawings is a plus.

Skills:
Proficient in the use of CMM programming and measurement software.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other Requirements:
Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and standards.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.
Certification in quality control or CMM operation is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally.
