We have a new search open for an Installation Technician. This role involves the installation of specialized equipment for industrial water treatment applications, ensuring efficient operations and compliance in facilities across various sectors. Qualified candidates will find opportunities for skill development in a dynamic, travel-oriented environment with potential for overtime and bonuses.

  • Anticipated salary: $30-$40 per hour, plus overtime and 5% annual bonus.
  • Comprehensive healthcare, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
  • Company-provided vehicle, tools, and per diem for travel.
  • Anticipated travel: 75-80% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

  • Install equipment such as PID-controlled pumps, emulsifiers, chlorine dioxide generators, and feed systems at customer sites.
  • Conduct site surveys focusing on safety, supportability, and dependability.
  • Perform electrical hookups, water connections, and wiring while adhering to safety policies.
  • Maintain relationships with sales teams and customers through effective communication.
  • Provide remote support to service technicians and complete office work like expense reports.
  • Safeguard company assets including tools and vehicles.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma required; technical degree preferred (experience considered in lieu).
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license required; safety certifications helpful.
  • 0-1+ years in pulp/paper, water treatment, or specialty chemicals.
  • Ability to read electrical/P&ID schematics and troubleshoot chemical systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness for extensive travel and flexible schedules.
