Job Description:

Salary: $22.62 per hour plus fully paid employee medical and dental benefits

The impact you will have: As an Instructional Associate you will support instructional staff to create a high-quality learning experience for our transitional kindergarten students, helping them to develop their academic and social skills. You will develop, lead, and participate in engaging learning experiences that meet the developmental and educational needs of students. A more detailed job description is available at

Who you are: A reliable, collaborative professional with experience in early childhood education. You are committed to student success and have a desire to continuously improve and grow within our organization.

What you bring:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and completion of one of the following:
  • Passage of the San Jos Unified Instructional Associate Assessment (view tutorial
). This will be completed after your application and interview, or * an Associates Degree or higher, or
  • two years of college (48 units)
  • Prior experience working in early childhood education is preferred
  • Completion of San Jos Unifieds Crisis Intervention training within 60 days of start date.
