Job Summary:
The Instructional Design Team Lead designs and builds K-12 course templates, LMS classes, rubrics, and resources for assigned courses. This role ensures all materials align with State Standards, Competencies, and National Quality standards for online courses. The team member will work across multi-subject areas, demonstrating strong communication and time management skills.

Job Duties:
  • Align course templates with Braintree Instructional Principles, State Standards, Competencies, and National Quality standards for Online courses
  • Ensure accessibility features and best practices are implemented in design
  • Import courses into the LMS and check to ensure all courses are formatted and set up in a timely fashion for teachers and students
  • Design course templates to ensure vertical and horizontal continuity
  • Communicate effectively with subject matter experts
  • Review content from team members to ensure alignment
  • Manage time effectively, meeting deadlines.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • College degree in education, teaching or instructional design
  • 2-3 years Experience teaching in assigned subject matter or relevant experience in instructional and curriculum design positions
  • Experienced with Google Suite, Schoology and other platforms as specified by department
  • Knowledge and experience with universal design and accessibility
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in asynchronous communication tools and practices for remote team environments.
  • Availability to work during summer months to support curriculum development cycles.
