Engagement Description
  • We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our Leadership Development, Coaching, and Support Services team.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and engaging training programs focused on software systems used across the organization.
  • You will collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze training needs, create instructional materials, and deliver high-impact learning solutions. The ideal candidate has experience in instructional design, adult learning theory, and a strong understanding of software systems and technology.
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience:
  • Instructional Design Expertise: Proven experience designing and developing
    instructional materials, including eLearning, instructor-led training, and blended solutions, specifically for software systems.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of software applications and technology platforms, with the ability to translate complex software functions into clear, understandable training materials.
  • Adult Learning Theory: Solid knowledge of adult learning principles and how to apply them in a corporate setting, ensuring training is accessible, engaging, and effective.
Preferred Skills/Experience Optional but preferred skills/experience. Include:
  • eLearning Development Tools: Experience with industry-standard eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS): Familiarity with LMS platforms for managing, deploying, and tracking training programs.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Education/Certifications Include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing training for software applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, impactful training solutions.
