About Us Beiler Insurance is an independent, family-owned insurance agency that provides affordable coverage solutions for individuals and businesses throughout Lancaster and Chester County. The company offers a wide range of policies—including auto, home, life, health, farm, and commercial insurance—while focusing on personalized service and building strong client relationships to ensure each customer gets coverage tailored to their needs. What You'll Do as an Insurance Agent: Build relationships with both commercial and personal insurance clients to understand their insurance needs. Educate clients on coverage options, including general liability, workers' compensation, commercial auto, homeowners, personal auto, RVs, boats, and motorcycles. Generate new business through networking, referrals, and community involvement as part of the insurance sales process. Prepare quotes, proposals, and coverage recommendations tailored to each client. Work with insurance carriers to secure competitive coverage and pricing. Manage client accounts by supporting renewals, updates, and ongoing service. Stay up to date on insurance products, construction risks, and industry requirements. Travel locally to meet with clients, typically within 30 minutes. Our Ideal Insurance Agent: Experience: No prior insurance experience required—training and licensing support provided. At least 2+ years of sales experience is preferred. Background in construction, trades, or working with contractors is strongly preferred; must be able to obtain a state insurance license. Strong Communicator: Builds relationships easily, communicates clearly, and works well with a variety of clients. Driven & Self-motivated: Takes initiative, stays organized, and follows through on opportunities. Sales-minded: Interested in learning sales and business development, with the drive to grow a strong customer base. Persistent: Willing to meet new people, network, and consistently pursue new opportunities. Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge with the ability to learn agency systems; strong typing skills required.
