Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex insurance coverage issues across first-party and third-party claims
- Prepare detailed insurance coverage opinions
- Litigate coverage and bad faith matters involving multiple lines of insurance
- Draft, argue, and respond to dispositive and discovery-related motions
- Take and defend depositions and attend court conferences
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client advisory work
Qualifications:
- 3 5 years of meaningful insurance coverage experience
- Strong background in coverage analysis and opinion writing
- Litigation experience, including motion practice and court appearances
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated academic achievement
- Deposition and trial experience preferred, but not required
- Active Texas Bar license required
