Position: Insurance Defense Attorney
An insurance defense attorney is responsible for providing legal representation to insurance companies and their clients in various insurance coverage disputes and personal injury actions. They use their expertise in legal skills, negotiation, research, and case management to advocate for their clients and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent insurance companies and their clients in insurance coverage disputes and personal injury actions.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to gather evidence and build strong defense strategies.
- Negotiate on behalf of clients to reach favorable settlements.
- Manage a caseload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Advocate for clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Participate in community involvement activities to promote the firm and build relationships.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the state where the firm operates.
- Experience in insurance defense, personal injury, or related field.
- Strong legal skills, including research, writing, and argumentation.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of insurance coverage disputes and relevant regulations.
- Strong advocacy and communication skills.
- Commitment to community involvement and building relationships.
