Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Insurance Defense Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in handling HOA/Condo and Slip and Fall cases, with some exposure to auto cases. This role requires supporting one attorney managing up to 25-30 cases, requiring a strong ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant in insurance defense, specifically with HOA/Condo and Slip and Fall cases. Some experience with auto cases is preferred.
- Knowledge: strong understanding of Florida law and Florida e-filing requirements.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Assist in managing a caseload of 25-30 cases, including HOA/Condo, Slip and Fall, and some auto cases.
- Document Preparation: Prepare, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other court documents.
- E-Filing: Proficiently handle Florida e-filing requirements, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and timely in accordance with Florida law.
- Calendar Management: Schedule and maintain the attorneys calendar, including court appearances, depositions, client meetings, and other appointments.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between clients, attorneys, court personnel, and other involved parties. Handle incoming calls and correspondence, providing excellent customer service.
- Research: Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to assist in case preparation.
- Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties such as filing, copying, and maintaining organized case files.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure all tasks are completed with high accuracy and attention to detail to support effective case management and successful outcomes.
