Insurance Office Assistant/Processing Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and emails from customers promptly and direct inquiries to the appropriate persons to ensure client satisfaction
- Complete administrative tasks, such as filing paperwork and distributing paperwork, to help our office run smoothly
- Update our database regularly to make sure we have current customer information readily available
- Perform basic office duties to ensure we stay on path
- MUST be able to multitask
- MUST be a team player and be able to adapt to team needs and assist with other projects as needed
- Hours Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, Associate’s Degree in business administration or related field preferred
- 2+ years work experience in administrative support, customer service, or insurance industry is preferred
- Proven track record of strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient data entry skills
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to use Excel and standard word-processing programs
- MUST be professional
- Willing to train the correct person
