Our agency is expanding, and we are searching for a detail-oriented and personable insurance office assistant to help keep us organized! Your main responsibility will be supporting our agents by taking phone calls, checking emails, and directing customer inquiries to the appropriate persons. You will also help process paperwork and schedule appointments to make sure our clients get the best service we can provide. Insurance Office Assistant/Processing Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and emails from customers promptly and direct inquiries to the appropriate persons to ensure client satisfaction
  • Complete administrative tasks, such as filing paperwork and distributing paperwork, to help our office run smoothly
  • Update our database regularly to make sure we have current customer information readily available
  • Perform basic office duties to ensure we stay on path
  • MUST be able to multitask
  • MUST be a team player and be able to adapt to team needs and assist with other projects as needed
  • Hours Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required, Associate’s Degree in business administration or related field preferred
  • 2+ years work experience in administrative support, customer service, or insurance industry is preferred
  • Proven track record of strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient data entry skills
  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to use Excel and standard word-processing programs
  • MUST be professional
  • Willing to train the correct person
