The Intake Coordinator plays a vital role in the admissions process at Bright Harbor Healthcare. This position is responsible for overseeing patient intake, ensuring a smooth transition from referral to treatment. The Intake Coordinator will gather information from clients, perform initial assessments, and work collaboratively with clinical staff to facilitate appropriate service linkage. This role requires strong communication skills and a dedication to providing an exceptional client experience.

Position Title: Intake Clinician
Position Type: Per Diem
Benefits Eligible: No
Location: Toms River, NJ
Department: Shore Haven
Salary: Master's Level: $25.00 - $30.00 Hourly
Licensed: $40.00 - $50.00 Hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments for incoming clients
  • Coordinate intake appointments and ensure documentation is accurately completed
  • Develop the Individual Recovery Plan (IRP) and conduct treatment reviews
  • Work closely with clinical staff for collaboration of client care
  • Facilitate skill building, psychoeducational and therapeutic groups to consumers and family members
  • Triage and respond to phone inquiries in a professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Provide crisis intervention services as needed
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred
  • LSW/LAC or LCSW/LPC preferred
  • Two years of experience in behavioral health or a related field
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience
  • Must have or be in the process of obtaining a CADC
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records
