About the Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Integration Engineer to join our client's automotive software team. This group is building tools and processes that simplify vehicle software development and enable new vehicle use cases through advanced ML/AI-driven applications - redefining how drivers interact with next-generation vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Lead integration and bring-up of automotive hardware platforms, including installing binaries and enabling deployment pipelines.
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable software components, frameworks, and tools in Python and C++.
- Support hardware bring-up and debugging using technologies such as Yocto, AGL, Bazel, and QNX.
- Work hands-on with vehicle systems, compute hardware, and sensors to enable real-world software validation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with software, hardware, and systems teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Apply sound design principles to develop scalable, extensible, and maintainable solutions.
- Perform testing and validation (unit, integration, end-to-end, performance) to ensure quality and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Hands-on experience creating and deploying automotive applications on real hardware (CAN, LIN, CANoe, AUTOSAR, etc.).
- Proficiency with Yocto, AGL, QNX, and build pipelines for hardware deployment.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages.
- Experience with hardware bring-up, flashing, and low-level debugging.
- Ability to work autonomously across multiple teams, handling technical ambiguity with minimal guidance.
- Comfortable working directly with vehicles - including wiring, flashing, and signal retrieval.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ADAS or other advanced automotive systems.
- Background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with C/C++ for embedded or systems-level development.
