Intelligence and Support Services Administrator Apply
POSITION DUTIES
The Intelligence and Support Services Administrator directs, manages, oversees and coordinates the Intelligence and Investigative Division (IID) and Warrant Apprehension Unit (WAU) Divisions operations pertaining to the Administrative Services Unit, Analytical Services, Policy and Inspections, Evidence Control, Body Worn Camera Program, Property Management and Fleet Operations. Duties of this position include:
- Strategic planning to coordinate and facilitate budget proposals and effective interagency operations.
- Oversight of support personnel, legislative functions, and financial responsibilities within IID.
- Coordination with DPSCS leadership to minimize and investigate instances of contraband and corruption within DPSCS units and facilities.
- Enforcing and assessing policies and procedures relating to the Body Worn Camera System.
- Reviewing, creating, and updating unit policies and procedures in conjunction with the Attorney Generals Office.
- Management of the Departments Evidence Control Room to include security, updates, and accurate inventory.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Five (5) years of experience in a law enforcement Command Level position.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
