Base pay range We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a fast paced environment for an exciting business in Newcastle. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory and financial standards. The organisation is a well-established entity within the North East. Operating as part of a small-sized team, it provides a challenging yet rewarding environment for its employees. They are looking for an experienced Interim Financial Controller for a 3-5 month assignment while they recruit on a permanent basis. Description Oversee all financial reporting and accounting operations within the organisation. Improvement systems and accounting practises Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies. Prepare and present financial statements and management accounts. Manage cash flow and forecast financial performance. Support the budgeting process and provide financial insights to stakeholders. Collaborate with external auditors and manage audit processes effectively. Identify process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy. Lead and guide the finance team to achieve operational goals. Profile A successful Interim Financial Controller should have: A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulations. Experience in managing and developing finance teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - excel The ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders effectively. Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools Job Offer Competitive daily rate between £405 and £495. Exposure to a professional and collaborative work environment.
