Interior/Architectural Designer – In-Office Position

Salary: $35,000–$45,000 base + commission (On-Target Earnings: $65,000–$85,000)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-driven Interior/Architectural Designer to join our in-office team. This role focuses on designing the interior and exterior elements of residential remodeling projects, with a strong emphasis on modern, contemporary, and rustic styles. You’ll collaborate with clients, vendors, and contractors to bring inspiring designs to life.

This is a full-time, in-office position located in Greenwood, SC – a charming area just 3 hours from the beach and 1.5 hours from the mountains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and present detailed mood boards reflecting modern, contemporary, and rustic design aesthetics.
• Develop interior and exterior plans tailored to the client’s style, space, and function needs.
• Use AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop to produce renderings, layouts, and specifications.
• Source and specify furniture, finishes, fixtures, and materials; estimate material and construction costs.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure successful execution.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and ensure satisfaction throughout the design process.

Qualifications:

• Experience in interior or architectural design, especially in residential remodeling.
• Strong software skills: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop.
• Ability to design and present in modern, contemporary, and rustic styles.
• Excellent organization, communication, and client interaction skills.
• Deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
• Must be able to work on-site in our Greenwood, SC office (no remote or relocation assistance offered).
